it's a Friday and probably the last Friday that i would be able to get some rest. classes start on Tuesday and i can't believe how fast summer had been. summer's already yesterday and so we say goodbye to bright hues, cropped tops, sand and late nights!

i've always wanted to try long pencil skirts. there's something about them that makes you feel like you are in command and everything will go as plan. or maybe it's just because i see a lot of corporate women wearing these? anyway, i was scared at first because 1. the length doesn't really work to my advantage and 2. my worry is that i would look old.

i'm finally done blogging outfits with my old hair! yay! if you guys are following me on instagram (@pattyb), you guys would know i had my hair coloured again and cut about 5 inches last March. it has been long overdue! my hair was like an upside-down ombre with my roots showing. plus, i didn't had my bangs re-done so i can try a new look!

my no-brainer combination of shorts and a breezy top never fails me every time i'm in a hurry to leave the house. two simple individual clothing, when paired up with each other, can create your summer outfit for the day. especially when it comes with yummy colors like these - color-blocking is a must!

i've always been a fan of the paisley print but never got to own one so when i found this shorts at The Second Shop, i couldn't help but squeal! plus, it was such a great bargain. i bought three bottoms just for P999! who can say no to that deal?

wore this when i was still attending classes and it was kind of chilly that time that i took out this blazer for a day-out. i'm in love with blazers and it's just so sad that it's so hot i won't be able to wear them out for a while..unless i spend the whole day inside a full-blast air conditioned mall.
