a busy day

what do you wear on a busy day ahead? well i went for the pieces i know would let me be able to move fast and yet very chic at the same time. i relied on my ever so comfortable ankle boots from Tonic, the no-brainer LBD and a chambray to keep my look casual. i love wearing pieces that you would normally wear at night and topping it off with casual ones. who would've thought that the magic of mixing can result in an edgy look like this?

can you be my chill pill?

with all the hassle we're living with, it's never wrong to just pause what you're busy with and relax. remember, even God took a rest on the 7th day of the week. our minds need some slack in order to face another stressful week ahead, if not, it won't be able to work properly. that's why i always set aside 4-5 hours of rest doing nothing but lazing around and believe me, it totally works!

why so serious?

 if i'm already working, i would definitely want the freedom to wear this kind of corporate attire. i'm not really keen on wearing black clothes although it exudes professionalism. i don't know if it's because i'm Chinese & we believe black means death & bad luck or if i just really love colours in general!

firsts

here's my very first short post! i've been MIA these past few days & it's because i've been busy with my organization and my exams. it's been hell of a week but good things never come easy. that's why i've been working my teeny little butt off to make everything just the way i want it to be.

and..it was my birthday last saturday! whoopee! it's official! i'm already in my 20s. gosh, i feel so old but i believe that age is only a number. when we're living life to the fullest doing the things that we want and spending every single second with our loved ones, we won't even notice that we're aging. all of us will always be the 18 year old selves that we are and we'll all be fearless and curious still of what the future will bring. and now i'm so ready to take on a lot of "firsts" now that i'm already 20. i can say that i'm that near to being a legit adult and i can't wait to experience the good and the bad things that come along with it.
