T.G.I.F

i know that it's a saturday night and i'm posting about being thankful that it's a friday but can you blame me for not posting this right away yesterday night? i was just so tired out from attending 2 make up classes in the morning and did a little bit of homework. i haven't slept in since last weekend! which just sucks big time..

went on a night out with my two best college girlfriends, Rache and Sache. it's such a coincidence that their names rhymes! ha! what a random thought. anyway we went to have dinner at Sunrise Buckets at Ortigas and continued our night at Tea Tap in Wilson, San Juan. 

went with my typical comfortable clothes of high-waist shorts and cropped top and definitely accessorized since i was in the mood. i've been only wearing a watch and an accessory or two lately and so i decided to be a little different for a night.

i'm definitely in love with my ombre shorts! it's in a cute shade of pink and orange. it's such a girly shorts yet a little but rugged because of the seams. i love buying pieces that have a personality and be a statement on it's own. i didn't have to wear a loud colored top to stand out because the shorts itself was so eye-catching!

anyway, i always go for a loose top everytime i know i will eat my heart out. when i'm always with my friends, i just can't help to eat a lot since we always go to restaurants that serve good food. what is foodorgasm?! that's why my tumtum's getting bigger by the second! i really do need to cut down my food intake and i will! by next week! since my angkong's going to have a celebration at Viking's tomorrow:>

  it had been such a good night spending my time with these girls. even though i could've use the time to study for my exams, i don't regret it one bit! it's been so long since i've been with them and just talk about everything under the sun. who knew that for even such a short time, people can be so attached to each other?

take.a.chill.pill.

i always have my daily dose of stress from school work and exams and i know i can't escape it.  i will never be the type of person who can actually keep sane when something goes totally wrong! i'll be in a state of panic and would keep thinking about it until there's nothing to ponder anymore. but i guess i just have to face the stress and use it to motivate me more than make me crazy.

wore this to an ordinary day at school and i went for pieces of clothes that would keep me fresh and warm at the same time. the kimono cover-up i was wearing was perfect! since it is made out of thin material, i wouldn't break a sweat even if it's freakin' hot. i wouldn't feel numb with coldness as well since it has long sleeves. voila! a quick-fix for the bi-polar weather!

played with orange and pink hues and i love how it turned out! of course i know color blocking is one of trends people love but being color coordinated can be chic as well! the colors i used really complement each other and do not overpower one another which makes this outfit very pleasing to the eye, unlike some of my colorful outfits! 

 pinned my hair like this that day since i wanted something different and i think it suit me well! what do you guys think? do i look better without bangs?

it's the end of another day and i just want to tell myself and you guys..well done! we've survived another day full of challenges and trials which may sometimes give us too much stress. the only thing we should do is to be optimistic and break a smile or two to always end on  happy note! it wouldn't hurt to have a break or as i say a "chill" time since it can help us be more productive!

Gaia

Gaia in mythology was the goddess or the personification of Earth and was treated as the great mother of all the heavenly gods, according to wikipedia that is..ha!

 i read somewhere that earth tones are the trend this time and how earth-y could i get with all the brown hues on my outfit for the day! i definitely went crazy this time and i contained myself from sporting a monochromatic outfit because i don't have the confidence to pull it off. incorporated earth tones by using different shades of brown and a maroon accessory to have a focal point to the whole look.

i'm amazed by the outcome of my randomly-putting-pieces-of-clothes-since-i-was-really-sleepy outfit. it exuded a little of bohemian and more of the chill vibe because of the loose top and flow-y skirt. everything just effortlessly came together!

even the color of my nail polish was in a shade of brown! it was definitely a first for me to try a nail color like this since i always go for a more colorful shade. i love neon and bright colors but trying neutral hues once in a while definitely doesn't hurt!

i felt comfortable the whole day with this outfit. maybe because of the loose top and the breezy skirt. it's definitely a change from my usual body hugging skirts that i always wear! whenever i feel fat, i always go for loose pieces since they can hide the unwanted bumps that you don't want to be seen.

another post with my old hair. i think there'll be two more outfits before my hair would be what it is now. it's getting harder to update everyday since i almost have exams every week! still, i definitely find time to blog since it's a stress reliever and a break from all the calculations and analysis. hope you guys have a good week ahead!
