freedom

i'm officially free from my accounting major this term because i just had my finals earlier! yay! *happy dance* and of course that is the reason why i haven't been able to blog lately. in DLSU, it's the midterms week and studying for those exams has been eating my time. my sleep this week has always been cut short and i'm really sleepy now but decided to blog first! so excuse me and my nonsensical blab since my mind isn't really functioning well.

awkward

my body's currently in an awkward stage where i don't know if i'm fat or not but i'm certainly sure that i've gained a few pounds. sometimes, us girls would always feel conscious of our bodies because we've always had the impression of being thin as beautiful. it's very hypocritical of me if i said that i myself don't believe in it. believe me, i do but that's one of the things i would definitely want to change about myself.

it's that time of the year where roses are a bit overrated and overpriced big teddy bears can be found in every girls' arms...i know! it sounds like i'm bitter but i'm not! well, maybe a little bit? anyway i had an 8am class earlier and my professor started her the session with a story of how Valentine's day came to be. i only heard the general storyline since i was literally falling asleep with my eyes open! apparently, in the past there was a time when marriage was not allowed or forbidden, i don't know what the right term is. so St. Valentine was against it and secretly wed couples and it got out and was sentenced to death. my professor said she doesn't know if February 14th was his death date or his birth date so if curiosity got to you feel free to google it and let me know?

soft grunge

finally, my favorite new ankle boots have made its debut on my blog! i've been abusing these babies ever since i got them because not only are they fashionable but comfortable as well. i think ankle boots are one of the things that a girl's closet needs. they always add the extra "umph" in an outfit without sacrificing the joy of walking unlike platforms or stilettos.

although peplum's already out of the fashion world, well only until it becomes a craze again, this top is the only exception! why, you may ask? it's because it's in a yummy mint green pastel colour! i've been seeing a lot of pastel coloured clothes in store racks and online shops and i guess it'll be the "in" thing for the summer.
