when the rain starts to stop, you follow

slowly, little by little, my thoughts of you stop...

it's been raining nonstop and it's dampening my mood badly. i'm really not fond of the rain since it makes me so lazy and just curl up on my bed with a cup of hot chocolate..which would make me fat. it also restricts me to take outfit photos! mr. sun i miss you!

 my concept for the day was layering since it's quite chilly these days and i took my sneaks for a spin. i always rely on my favorite and only pair of sneakers when it's raining since i don't want to worry about my flats to getting wet and broken! also i topped my bodycon dress with a knit top to keep me warm and comfy.

even if it rained, i couldn't let it stop me from taking outfit pictures for the day! i always felt like there's something missing if i didn't. it already became a routine of waking up, taking a bath, eating breakfast, my pictorial then go straight to school. just imagine how early i always wake up just to do all of these.:)

 anyway i used neon accessories to brighten up my look and have a little bit of sunshine in me. i always think that there's nothing wrong in injecting pops of color here and there, not only in a person's look but also in everyone's lives. especially right now when it's raining and creates traffic and flood everywhere.

faux leatherette

a blog post to start the week right!

 i was surprised of how i came up with the color palette of my outfit. it was very toned down and not the usual bright hues that i'm fond of. still, i loved how it turned out! i played with brown, gold and black hues to create a rich kid vibe..in short..lakas lang makayaman!

the wind was my ally that day as you can see in the pictures. i love how my hair swayed beautifully with the wind. i know that it's such a petty thing to be happy over looking good in pictures but what can i say? it's every blogger's problem! in my opinion anyway:P every detail a picture needs, like the right amount of light, is very important to make the details of the outfit evident. 

  i adore the faux leather detail of my skirt. it just brings a lot of character to my outfit. it made the whole ensemble tough yet very sophisticated. also with the help of gold accessories, it completed my "mayaman" look!

it's official! my blog's a year old! yay! never have i imagined i would find my love in blogging and to be able to do it for a year makes me feel a bit giddy myself. well the truth is yesterday was the first anniversary for my blog but since i was busy with a paper i couldn't blog at all. it's better late than never right?

i'll save the thoughts about my first blog anniversary for laters..yes very much Fifty! anyway since Christmas is nearing i can wear long sleeves and knit more even if it's so hot here in the Philippines. people wouldn't be thinking i'm crazy to wear thick clothing since it's the "-ber" months already! so girls bring out your trendiest "winter" wear and don't be afraid to flaunt it.

i'm definitely in love with my digital printed leggings! it's like a work of art and definitely shouts fashown! anyway since i wanted the leggings to stand out, i opted for a plain top and footsies. didn't actually wear the pumps at school since i know my feet would've died on me. i really admire people who can walk for hours in heels! it takes a lot of balance and grace to walk in them without looking in pain.

here it goes...i just want to express my gratitude to those people who read my blog even if i know you guys only got nothing to do..:P i really never imagined myself putting up a blog myself and update it everyday. i really look up to bloggers in general since it already became a profession rather than a past time thing. fashion bloggers nowadays are being called up to be ambassadors and models! let's face it guys, everyone wants to be famous and be known including myself. i may be far from those famous fashion bloggers but to have readers like you guys already fills my heart up! i just love writing and giving tips based on my experience and to have a people read about them feels like i received the grand prize. really! i swear! peksman!:P anyway thank you thank you thank you and i hope you guys can continue on reading my blog even if it's not good enough!
