i attended a friends party at The Keg in the Fort for her 18th birthday and it was actually very laid back and intimate. saw my high school friends again after such a long period of time which made the night twice memorable. actually went home very late like around 4am and it was the first time i did that. good thing my parents didn't get mad at me!

it's the first time i did this kind of outfit post where i just laid down the clothes i wore that night and took a picture of it. i was actually lazy to pose in front of the camera since as far as i remember it was the week where i had a lot of deadlines for my courses. i don't think this would be the last time i would do a post like this since it actually takes less time than i normally do!

it's been a while since i last posted and i know i've been a very bad blogger! hihihi that's why i decided to post something today especially i'll be out of the country starting this wednesday for a 4-day trip. YEY! i've been wanting to get out of the country because of the intense heat. it seems like mr. sun is angry for some reason and all of us are suffering because of it. that's why shorts and sleeveless tops are my summer style staple!

cardigans and knitted tops are my enemies this summer and i know they're yours too! that's why i rarely go out as well these past few days and just bond with my bed. ha-ha! anyway i'm currently addcited to Maroon 5's new song titled Payphone hence the title. it's one of my favorite lines in the song and i just can't stop replaying it over and over again with my ipod.

 hats and beanies as well are my summer's style staple since it's hot and they protect our heads from the heat. it's also important to apply sunblock when we go out to keep our skin protected and to avoid skin cancer. although sometimes sunblock makes us feel sticky, we should think about the health benefits we get in the end!

hope you guys are experiencing a fun summer with your family and friends! i know for sure i'll be enjoying my few days left of summer since a new term starts on May 24. it's a good thing that i'll be able to have a short vacation with my JS friends in Fontana before school starts! i'm so looking forward to it! hope you guys are looking forward to something exciting too.

 this happened last March 2. yes it was the day of my 19th birthday! we celebrated my friend's birthday that day i know it was supposed to be mine but that's how it ended up since i celebrated mine with my other 2 friends later on that month.. i actually had dinner with my family that night and i just tried to catch up with the celebration!

this summer has been the hottest i've ever experienced! the temperature's making me drink water every now and then because my throat feels dry all the time. my lips are even cracking up and even if i'm only sitting down i still sweat as if i've been running! 

i guess the only thing i can do is to wear clothes that are made of thin material and avoid dark colors like black because that would only add to the heat. the point is to wear bright and neon colors to feel the summer vibe more..besides the intense heat we're all experiencing

i really want to go to the beach this summer and have sand between my toes but unfortunately i wouldn't be able to do that. my family has no plans getting sunburned and wet! but the good part is that we'll be going to HongKong which makes up for the no-feeling-the-sand-between-my-toes summer.

what do you guys think? is the look better with the vest on or not? you may be wondering why i layered clothes in this freakin' heat but it's because i have to follow university rules. we aren't really allowed to weak tank tops so i decided to just wear a vest instead of a cardigan.

yes, it's the original soundtrack of The Hunger Games sung by Taylor Swift and i totally forgot who did the featuring. and i'm also currently reading the trilogy. sadly i'm not even done with the first book even with all the time i've got in my hands but so far i'm halfway through it already. i must say the book's much more detailed than the movie. every book i've read that was made into a movie always made me disappointed especially the Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella! the movie was just ugh! i can't even find a word for it. anyway...

don't you think the laced top and all the white and gold in my look made me have the vibe of being innocent and naive? hence the title safe and sound. i love looking like an innocent and naive girl on the outside but i'm fierce and brave on the inside. in that way there'll always be a factor of surprise and excitement! echoserang froglet!

the truth is, the top's from my mom's closet. i coaxed her to buy the top when we were shopping around because i wanted to wore it myself. i know it's evil of me but it's all for the sake of fashown! i even got to wore it first which made my mom really annoyed. ha!

actually the top's a size bigger than what i usually wear because my mom didn't even bother to properly fit it because we were in a hurry and it turned out it was big on her too! yes, we share clothes because she recently slimmed down a lot which is very convenient for me! i just wore a bandeau to cover the parts that aren't supposed to be seen. thank God there's bandeau!
