flesh.and.bones.

osteology, noun
[os-tee-ol-uh-jee]
-a branch of anatomy dealing with the skeleton.

who here didn't thought of bones and skeletons with the eccentric detail i have on my back? it was impossible for random strangers to not give some weird glances at me at the mall because my back was bare! ha! too much for standing out!
Bershka skeleton top. H&M leopard pleated skirt.
i just love how the top was designed and made. it's sexy but not on the verge of looking like a slut, sorry for my term but i can't think of any other. hihihi i decided to not wear something underneath it because it's such a waste if i did. it was made to reveal something but not everything.did that make sense? anyway i paired it up with a black brassiere to make it look classy and not trashy:)

the top's even perfect with the bi-polar weather i have here in the Philippines. sometimes it will be too hot that i'll be sweating like bullets that's why wearing knitted and thick clothes aren't really an option. tops like these are a must have in every girl's closet when you live in a tropical country like mine.
Bangkok geometric ring from my friend, Sachelle. Aldo oval ring. Cotton On beaded bracelets. The Bead Shop shopaholic cuff.
 Love Diva tassel beaded necklace

anyway i wore this outfit last sunday to the mall. my family along with my auntie and cousins went to Power Plant, Rockwell and it has been a year since i went there! i know it's been such a long time but it's just so far away from home that's why the malls i frequently go to are only Trinoma, Greenhills and SM Megamall. and besides there's really nothing much to do there unless we have small kids along who love to play at Power Station.
Hong Kong neon capped flats

on a side note, classes already started for me last thursday as seen in my last post. i've been dreading to go to school since it is a busy term for me and my friends and i just didn't maximized my summer. it's just so sad that i wasn't as productive as some of you might had been this past summer but it's too late for regrets now. all i have to do is to have my brains ready for all the studying i need to do until the term ends!

hope you guys started your monday the right way! xoxo

double.vision.

it was the first day of the new school year for me last thursday and i dressed up accordingly to the new university dress code. readers who are from DLSU would know about it and it became more constricting than it was before. like sheer tops or see-through tops should be worn with something under it that covers the whole upper body so a bandeau is really not a choice.

i just went for something comfortable for the first day since my body clock is still not adjusting to the fact classes already started. going for something comfortable and chic at the same times has always been my back-up plan whenever i'm bangag and lack of sleep. comfortable for me meant a sleeveless top paired up with a mini skirt and flats.

the first day was incredibly tiring for me especially we already have tons of homework due on monday and i haven't done a single one as i'm writing this! i'm taking up my majors in accountancy this term and they say we'll be deprived of life outside of the university. i definitely don't know what i'll do with the stress but i'll try to always balance my time.

Hong Kong pink button down collared top. H&M gray acid wash skirt.
Thrifted peace connector ring. Bangkok bird ring. Ice Watch silver clear watch.
my friend, Sache gave me this bird ring when she went to Bangkok.:)
 Primadonna leopard loafers

i can't get enough of collared tops. as you all know, if you've been reading posts of mine, you'll see how i'm in love with collared tops and i always button it up all the way to the top! there's just something different with buttoning it all up than having an unbuttoned one. it gives of a more crisp and preppy look which always remind me of school uniforms:P

 Jhajing pearl detachable collar
it's the first time i tried the double collar look and i think i was successful with it. yay! a friend even asked me if it was attached together and i said no. it's actually a detachable one and i just wanted and accessory that can emphasize the collar that's not a necklace. i always think that detachable collars are the quick fix that an outfit needs to give it umph!
had my nails done before the first day of class at Nailandia at Tomas Morato. it was such a cute place with the tiffany blue scheme color and the victorian theme it has. they also have internet wi-fi which made it easier for me to instagram photos i took there. along with the high-quality service, they also served us tea or iced tea which just shows how they pamper their customers. you guys should visit there because their mani-ped only cost me 350!

mermaid's.tail.

went to school to get my schedule and pay my tuition fee and after i met up with my friends rachel, sachelle and gab to catch up and just talk about everything under the sun. sadly, my day didn't go as planned. i didn't get to pay my tuition fee since there was a long line and i didn't have the patience to wait. and besides i had somewhere to go to with my friends!

i had to actually wear a vest to cover up due to the strict dress code the university has. vests are so helpful especially if you want to cover up but you can still bear the heat while wearing them. it's the quickest solution to every fashionista's problem!

when i first saw this mullet dress, i knew i just had to buy it! the dress completely possesses everything that i wanted. the dress has the perfect length, believe me it's so hard to look for mullet dresses that won't reach the ground and make you look small, also the dress is in a beautiful royal blue color that can pop out and make a statement and finally the spaghetti straps which are so perfect for the summer!

it's the day that i let my iPhone to rest and finally use a decent camera. it's a lumix camera and i don't know what model it is because i'm not good with cameras. i don't really care what brand the camera is as long as it can take high quality photos.

i met up with rachel, sachelle and gab for lunch and we just went everywhere! we went to the Fort to try the craze, Jamba Juice. it was the first time i tried their healthy beverages and i really do think the drinks are for health conscious people. everything looked like it was freshly made and healthy! then we went to eat at Sunrise Buckets at The Grove by Rockwell and stuffed our stomachs until we couldn't breath. then we toured around Ateneo to see what their campus looked like. i felt so out of place since i don't study there but they really do have a nice ambiance for students to study in..well nothing beats DLSU because i'm biased..hihi

Cotton On royal blue mullet dress. Marks&Spencer gold belt. Hong Kong vest.
 Hong Kong metal bib necklace
 H&M rings
Parfois messenger bag. Hong Kong neon capped flats.

after our north adventure we wen to rachel's restaurant and ate our dinner there and it was her treat so it made me feel even full-er than i was! after that we went to her house to have a dip in the pool, too bad i was in the middle of my girl time of the month! and it was such a tiring day full of gluttony. i had a lot of fun catching up with them and i hope we can get together some time again!
