when i see checkered polo tops especially the bloody red ones i think of rednecks. i learned this word from my friend:> i laughed when i first heard it because it was unusual and something new. redneck is an uneducated white farm laborer especially from the south. they're like those real Texan cowboys from the States with their unique accents. i can't name a movie or t.v series character that best describes what a redneck is but i hope you guys get the picture:P

i know i know. the color and texture of the checkered polo top i wore is not as close as those stereotypical rednecks had worn..BUT it doesn't change the fact that it's still a checkered top! (blurting out nonsense).

just want to share to you guys how depress i am since i'm controlling myself to stop buying things online or basically i'm shopping-fasting if there's such a thing! it's because i'm saving up for a trip to Hong Kong this summer and i want to splurge everything that i can get my hands on there! but i'm really suffering right now because all i see in my news feed on facebook are online stores who are selling what i want! i really need some distraction to control myself. need to save up faster!!

it's.more.fun.in.the.philippines

January 27 was the last day that my "Jersey Shore" barkada was complete since Andrea, one of my sisters from anotha motha (charot!) left us..no she's not dead ha-ha she's just going to stay in Australia for a while to finish her studies! of course we didn't want her to leave without having a despidida party so we gathered and had dinner and bonded through karaoke and a game of pool. we had tons of laughter and stories to tell. pigged out on pizza and ice cream and went home feeling a little bit incomplete:) she just left today and i think her plane already landed safely!

she's the one in a skin-toned top! she shed a tear or two since she'll be gone in a long time..she'll come back every december though! i would surely miss her! ha-ha! it's not normal for me to say that i would miss someone since i hate all that mushy stuff but i'll make an exception. I'LL MISS ANDREA HAY!:> and i know "jersey shore" would miss her too!

as i said earlier we sang our hearts out and had a game of pool. it was a laid back night out and all of us definitely had fun. by the end of the night me and my friend Mon sang a farewell song for Andrea. ang sweet naman!

 of course the opportunity to take a picture of the whole barkada can't be missed! we treat each other as family already and i know they'll always be there to back me up. it's so fortunate for all of us to be together and form something that is more than friendship! ang cute naman kasi parang family picture lang ang peg! 

WE'LL MISS YOU! HAVE FUN IN AUSSIE! although it's more fun in the Philippines!

going through my iTunes, i stumbled to Jordin Sparks' "Next to You". it's quite an old song but i always listen to it at least once a day! it's a love song that i can truly relate to and the melody is so easy to sway along with. since i don't have any idea what the title post can be i just thought a song title would be nice. my brain isn't working right now and all the creative juice that i have seems to be lost!

 wore skorts for a change. in case some of you might not know what a skort is, it is shorts that look like a skirt since it's flowy and not tight fitting like how shorts are normally are. wanted to do things i couldn't do if i was wearing a skirt so shorts are the next best thing!

 if you guys listened to the lyrics of the song, it talks about how a person, specifically a girl, feels when they have a crush on someone or someone they're really in to. to be honest i'm curious of what i will be able to do when i will enter a relationship. i've had crushes, that's a given but nothing serious. any person would be lying that they wouldn't want to be in a relationship including me! but as of now, i'm really content with what i have..friends and family surround me. sometimes we have to know that not everything we WANT will be granted but everything that we NEED will be given.. wehhh ang deep! AMININ! choz lang talaga!

wore this to school last friday and i just wore the usual skirt and top. i'm really thinking of buying a number of jeans since i actually miss wearing them! before all the i-don't-want-to-wear-jeans-since-they-make-me-look-small train of thoughts began, i was actually embarrassed to try shorts or skirts. the reason was i have hairy legs! the horror! that's why i was a little bit tomboy-ish back then. it's quite hard to imagine right? with me wearing skirts all the time and wearing jeans almost never! but it's true my friends can be witnesses to that. i only started wearing shorts when i was in 2nd year of high school and skirts the summer before college started. what is late bloomer? well as far as i'm concerned, this look is as innocent as i can get! hihihi

 it's not the kind of innocent where i'm all covered up. i described this look as innocent since i look soft and mellow and the colors aren't too bright but are actually quite neutral.

i'm currently obsessed with pastel and neutral colored nail polish. they're just so cute and girly to look at. before i really wanted bright and neon colored nail polish but now i want mellow colors. i don't know why i suddenly changed my preferences but maybe it has something to do with growing up? ha-ha! forgive my senseless thoughts!
