it's a friday &i just got back from a pampering sesh so i'm feeling very rejuvenated. i know it's very vain to rely on materialistic things in order to feel good but once in a while won't hurt right? like a shopping spree or a full body massage would do the trick or even a good dinner with friends will hit the spot.

it all boils down to loving and taking care of yourself a little more. when you enter a relationship, let it be a romantic one or platonic, you should always love yourself first and be an independent person who is capable of things. i know i'm not in the position to say this, since i haven't been in love and all, but girls these days seem to forget that they don't need boys to make them feel complete. so they go on and give their whole selves to them &forget their own person.

so just some things i need a girl, maybe even a boy, to remember:

1.  have your hobby

              have something you can call your own. let it be as violent as boxing or as girly as knitting. just have something you can do even without your sweet boyfriends.

2.  go out with your girls

                  you don't have to forget that you have your own set of sisters to spend time with. boys will be boys. girls will be girls. boys won't ever understand some things &you'll just have a headache making them do.

3.  down time

                   just like what i gave myself today. love yourself by having a mani-ped session at your favorite nail salon or have your overdue hair dye at your also favorite hair salon. be vain. your boyfriends would benefit from it too you know.

i think the keyword here is selfish. be that once in a while because it can do you good. girls, just always remember that you're your own person. you don't have to change for someone else &you don't have to fit in where you can't. be independent. some guys find that hot too if you didn't know.
