no, it's not Enrique Iglesia's song nor Mariah Carey's but Family of the Year's. i don't know if you heard of them, but i just knew of them recently. it's a soundtrack for a korean drama (It's Okay, It's Love) i've been watching. yes, tears have been shed for this one too. don't you just love how soundtracks can bring more feelings to every scene you've watched?

if you guys have read my post on my current favorite reads, you'd know i love reading in comfortable clothes, most especially in my pjs. it goes the same when i watch films. i would have my hair up in a bun and a tissue roll within reach. &whoever says i can't wear my home clothes out would deserve a flick on the forehead.
i wouldn't say that i've been choosing comfort over style because i would never do that but i've been dressing comfortably chic most of the time. you would see me in jeans and a loose shirt at campus with my trusty Bensimons &maybe a skirt if i'm feeling girly. i'm so into lazy dressing that you'd see tons of basics already in my closet. a more fashionable term for this phase would be #normcore.

Zara white shirt, Forever21 track pants, Bensimons white tennis shoes, Cotton On gold plate necklace, Charles & Keith bag

normcore is a short term for normal hardcore. it's a trend where you wear clothes your parents would normally wear like Birkenstocks or mommy jeans. it is probably a trend that i would consider genius &pray to God that it's here to stay. who wouldn't want to do comfort and style?
your masquerade
i don't wanna be a part of your parade
