blame

hello to my beautiful {handsome} readers! i know i have been missing the whole month of October &half of November from my blog and i couldn't be more ashamed. i hope i haven't lost the little readers i do have! i was just not feeling it lately- sitting down in front of my laptop &try to stir up something for you guys. but, finally i got my lazy ass up for you guys &remembered the happiness that blogging does give me. so here it goes!

if you guys are following me on instagram/twitter, {if not, do follow me @pattyb on instagram}, you should know that i cut a few inches off my hair again &probably went one or two shades lighter in colour. now, seeing these old outfit photos made me miss my 6 month old hair style. don't get me wrong, i don't regret it but sometimes a girl just can't help missing her long hair.

i don't usually style my hair &well i thought of changing it up. i put half of my hair up in a bun and i have to say i liked it more than i expected. it's different from my usual boring straight style &i think i'll style my hair more differently the next time. maybe some curls?

i've been loving monochromatic colours lately-blacks, whites and greys just do it for me. here, i totally embodied the normcore trend and played around with a different style. the curious cat in me always wondered how i would look like with a cloth tied around my hips. i know i did it back in the 90s as a kid using a jacket but i didn't care what i looked like back then. this Zara skirt gave me that chance. it's so unique how the sleeves are already attached to the skirt &gives that extra edge without layering another piece of cloth!

to add a little bit of colour to this blank canvas, i put on a dark plum paint on my lips. i have always loved splashing a dark shade of lipstick even when it's summer. i know those types of shades only suit a fall/winter season but whatever looks good on me, i'll do it! isn't that what fashion really is? breaking the rules?

so blame it on the night
don't blame it on me
