back to black

black isn't the usual color you would wear in summer but if it comes in sheer and adorable print like this i couldn't stop myself! i know i've told you guys i'm really not fond of black but i wanted to try something new so i went all out. i went to class wearing this and believe me i didn't feel hot at all. what wonders can sheer do!

and to keep it summer-y, i decided to knot both ends of the top and add some volume. don't you think it definitely gave oomph to the whole look? sometimes, it's the small details that matter the most because it can bring the outfit to a whole new level.

i only wore a couple of bracelets and rings so i can be fuss free. plus, living in a tropical country always makes us feel sticky and sweaty so less accessories, less fuss. (sorry, my vocabulary's running out on me! i'm still sleepy. hihi) i went for my favorite colorful skull bracelet and chunky ring to add a little bit of color and still have black as the main attraction.

i'm so in love with my pants! it isn't the kind that sticks to your legs and makes you feel uncomfortable when you sweat. pants like these are very useful when you're living here in the Philippines. it's also made out of stretch material so you can flap around and be crazy. and most of all, the subtle design that was printed on the pants made it to the top of the list of why i like these pair!

are you ready to go black this summer?
