i had the chance to hang out with two of my best girls after a very long time and so we decided to spend the afternoon together to watch a MMFF entry, One More Try. can i just i cried a lot while watching that movie? definitely a must-watch film!

anyway, enough of the movie and on to the outfit post. you guys may not notice it but i don't really wear black coloured clothes and only use black as an accent to my ensembles. a lot of people around me think of black as a colour for the dead which is why the words "pupunta ka ba sa patay?" always come out! and also as a Chinese, my family isn't really fond of black since it connotes death and wishing for something bad to happen. 

but, yes here i am with an all black outfit..well almost! i just wanted to try something out of my comfort zone since i'm always for bright neon colours that distract the human eyes! also the cute print and cape-like detail of the top from Apartment8 were just so adorable that i wanted those to stand out and be the focal points of the look.

i also tried the sheer sexy trend by only wearing a brassiere. i surprised myself by going out looking like this but as i always say, fashion will always be about experimenting and going over your limits. the tip in doing this is to stock up on good undergarments. those may not be seen but it can make or break your outfits too. like wearing a seamless underwear would always do the trick when sporting skin-fitting clothes.

i didn't accessorized much and only used my new favorite watch that me and my mom got from Boy London. the watch is so manly and looks very classy that made me fell in love with it. again i used a red lippie to complete my look. i'm so in love with red and blush pink lippies. i think they're the essential lipstick colours.

here are two pictures of that day. we had a very late lunch and a dinner after. of course in between we watched a movie and shopped a little bit. and to accompany everything we had a lot of catching up to do and had great laughs.
