flowers flirt

it's that time of the year where roses are a bit overrated and overpriced big teddy bears can be found in every girls' arms...i know! it sounds like i'm bitter but i'm not! well, maybe a little bit? anyway i had an 8am class earlier and my professor started her the session with a story of how Valentine's day came to be. i only heard the general storyline since i was literally falling asleep with my eyes open! apparently, in the past there was a time when marriage was not allowed or forbidden, i don't know what the right term is. so St. Valentine was against it and secretly wed couples and it got out and was sentenced to death. my professor said she doesn't know if February 14th was his death date or his birth date so if curiosity got to you feel free to google it and let me know?
anyway let's go on with my outfit..it's been so long since i've blogged because my time got all used up. i even got lazy taking outfit shots too! good thing i have tons of backlogs lined up.

if ever i'll have that special someone in the future and Valetine's day comes along, i'd like to dress up a little but exude a bit of masculinity. why you may ask? i'd love to show a different side of me since i'm pretty much girly and prefers skirts over a good pair of pants. so for a change, i'd like to be different even just for a day. chos lang!

i'd definitely wear this if ever that happens since it's the perfect mix of my girly style and the dash of masculinity that i want. also there's something about floral clothing that i think is very romantic which definitely suits the vibe of a candlelight dinner.

the trick in pulling off this kind of look is the ever so helpful high heels. for petite girls like me who will always look smaller when wearing pants, heels can be our magic. nude and black coloured pumps are a closet's must-haves because they practically suit everything! also wear minimalistic accessories like the slim rings i wore and big-faced watch that add to the masculinity factor.

  Happy Valentine's Day!
