anyhoo here's my first outfit post after such a long hiatus..
i wore this on a sunday girl time with my mom at the Mall of Asia two weeks ago. what is late! we went there to check out the Uniqlo and Forever21 branch and of course the shopping part will never be left out. every time me and my mom join forces, there'll be a big hole in our wallets. it's a good thing that we're already the same size and we can share every clothing we purchase!
love the vintage feel that my bag has! i got it from my grandma's closet:P
don't you just love the back of my top?
i adore every single detail of my outfit that day. this has got to be one of my bests and i hope you guys agree! i love how conservative the front part of my top is and then bam! do i even have to explain? the back part is just so cute since it was shaped like a ribbon and it gave me instant air-conditioning! we all know that malls are fully air-conditioned but once we step outside, we'll be sweating and feel sticky. well here in the Philippines anyway. that's why this top is perfect to be worn in tropical countries like mine!
|| top and sandals: Forever21 || uneven mullet skirt: Copper || necklace: Love Diva || peace cuff: The Bead Shop || jade bead bracelet: Beijing || rings: H&M || bag: grandma's closet ||
the one sided skirt was exquisite as well. i've had this skirt inside of my closet for ages and i knew i had to take it out and let it breath! i actually thought petite girls like me would look smaller by wearing maxi skirts or a mullet skirt like this but i was actually wrong. with the right cut and right length, it can do wonders. we just have to be brave to try different cuts and style and don't believe in hear-says because it can only restrict us from looking our best. taray! kung maka-advice lang!
it feels so good to be able to post again. you guys might not understand but writing down my thoughts or in this case typing:P really helps me relax and release my stress. i remember when i was still in high school, i love writing poems or short essays for my language classes and the love for writing stayed with me! as you all can see, i try to update if i can and i hope you guys enjoy reading my thoughts:p i still have a lot of backlogs to do so i'll be posting twice tonight. yay! have a happy thursday night!
p.s. i know the title's so random but if you look closely, you can actually see a birthmark on my back. it's on the left part of my back..i think.. haha! why don't you guys try to find it for yourselves? it looks like an island:P
monster appetite<3
