a flower on my tea

i've always wanted to try having an afternoon tea in Paris while tasting on french macaroons. imagine seating outside of a cute cafe in Paris with a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower and to accompany you a cup of tea and rainbow colored french macaroons. if i can have the chance to experience that in my life, i would die with no regrets!

having that scene in mind i pulled out a flowery peplum top and a bright yellow skirt to match. the flower pattern on my top made the whole look sweeter and youthful plus the skirt definitely brought out the details more. i definitely imagine myself wearing this in Paris since i always make it a point to travel in style but still comfortable. who can say no to that?

i'm definitely not over with anything in peplum! i love how it makes the waist look smaller and can create an illusion of the perfect hourglass shape. it also accentuates the hips which is helpful for a lot of women. i think peplum is one of the fashion trends that suits any age since it's playful and classy at the same time.

i know we've already entered the "-ber" months but i can't stop wearing bright colored hues. i think it's because i want to bring the mood up with all the rain that has been pouring here in Manila. the weather's been pickle all year round and i just don't know what to do with it! but one thing i'm glad about is the fact i can wear knitwear without sweating bullets!

it's a monday and i'm here sitting in front of my computer dreaming of things i want to do. there's nothing wrong in dreaming right? it's good to take a break and just think of the things we wish for and encourage us for the rough week ahead. have a good monday night!
