GUESS WHO?the most important man in my life (well next to JACOB..HA!) is my grandpa, in chinese, guakong! we celebrated his birthday last sunday which was a little later than his real birthday..it was on Oct. 10 and usually we just eat together.. we ate at Crown Prince, a chinese restaurant in Escolta..i really ate A LOT..walang diet diet para sa akin that day KASI ang YUMMY ng food!!:) they served my favorite spinach soup..HEAVEN..
here's a picture i have with my grandparents..that's my guakong(grandpa) and my guama(grandma)..they were the ones whom i'm very close with since i grew up with them and they spoiled me TOO MUCH:> i'm NOT a spoiled brat:))
that's me and my mom..sabi nila parang kaming carbon copy, that we look alike very much..but i'm not sure.. it is true that both of us are blabbers and big mouths:)) those are the things i got from my mom
that's me with my cousins..not all of us are in the picture..we're missing one! we're 7 all in all
THIS PICTURE RIGHT HERE IS MY FAVORITE..i'm with my cutest cousin EVER..she's so pretty and smart and cuddly..problema nga lang ANG TARAY MAGENGLISH NG LOLA MO..kids talaga..hindi na marunong magtagalog:P
it's a tradition to wear red when some one as old as my grandpa is celebrating his birthday.. in chinese i think the color red shows how people wishes happiness for the person and for them to live longer and prosper or something like that..that's all of us, they're grandkids
another chinese tradition is for the celebrant to give MONEY to people:) it's what we call "angpao"..siyempre..ang lola mo ang saya saya dahil nakakuha ng pera:))
it was a happy sunday since my love ones gathered and made time for each other..hope my guakong and guama live longer until they reach their mga apo sa tuhod:))
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY GUAKONG!!:)
monster appetite<3
