i'm staring blankly at my computer screen, coming up with nothing since nothing exciting has been happening lately. well, if you consider stuffing myself down with nothing but food and having close to zero exercise is exciting, i've hit the jackpot. it all boils down to having so much free time that i can fill a large mason jar. so now i spend it on surfing the net about make-up and planning on which ones to buy when September hits. i'm big on lists and now i have close to about 10 and one of those is my "make-up to buy" list which is now pretty long.

i dressed a little bit fancy for my ama's birthday. we're really big on wearing red on this kind of occasions so i treat this colour very differently. i don't wear red on normal days as if i'm repulsed by it. though i do paint it on my lips when i'm feeling such a lady. red for me is like violet to others. it's such a regal colour in my eyes that i think would only fit celebrations like this did.

so with that, it always leaves me at a loss of how i have no red to wear. it's frustrating, really. so now i would always try to find reds to stock like this one. i got it from Pink Manila &is probably one of my favorites. it flatters the chest with its low neckline and the peplum gifts you a shape you thought you wouldn't ever have. &let's not forget that it's also cropped with it's unusually short length.

partnered it with a ripped jeans and silver stilettos. it's a real wonder on how i found love again with jeans. i've been having a love-hate relationship with anything categorized as pants because those make me look a midget that i really am. yet, i really can't not succumb to the comfort it gives me. so the quick solution to the fallback on jeans is just to wear heels. high ones at that.

at times, the desire of having my long locks back is creeping on to me but what is life without doing changes right? i'm actually planning to cutting it off again in October &it would be a shorter one than before. really crossing my fingers that i can pull it off. then maybe on December, i'll have it curl like Karla Deras.
