it always has been inexcusable to wear black during summer. i mean really? it's summer &how does one wound up wearing dark colours? unfortunately, i was bit by the black bug myself. this would be such a lame excuse but it's the truth. i found myself staring at my closet &found nothing to wear. yes, petty girl problems. changed clothes for about a thousand times &still haven't found the one for the day. so i got lazy &thought black would always look chic, even in summer.

so i tried making up for it by playing with textures. my shorts were florally embossed &my top was made out of scrunchy material that produced a crumpled effect. plus, i wasn't really in an all black err-thang with jewels playing on my top and a blush pink bag.
the black made me ten times slimmer than i really am so plus point for that. now, i finally understand why a lot of people are in love with the colour. it makes one look so chic without trying. &if you play with textures and structures, you can never go wrong with it.

finally, it's the last post where you'll see outfits with my long hair. i'll be starting the month of july with my newly chopped hair. hope you guys would be excited for it as i am. plus, i'm still on my journey to explore make-up, then maybe i can advise you guys about those too. hope june has treated you guys well.
