not a bad thing

turning a year older seems like i'm running out of time and youth is ready to take the next train. &just like how i feel every single time i try to step off the lrt- rushed and terrified, growing up seems to be that.

then in another second, when you've had the time to think& realize that growing up isn't such a bad thing. you get to experience freedom &have your voice be heard. let's face it, being a child has its perks but people would always look at you like you're an adorable little pup- innocent& lost.

&as a part of the loot bag, you finally have the chance to wear grown up clothes. you finally get to express yourself through what you wear &show the world just how bold, brave &beautiful you are.

wore this exactly on the day i turned 21. funny how that number can let me enter the gates to being an adult. so in honor of that, i paired up my ever dependable pencil skirt with this coveted body-hugging corset. of course, a little skin is required to keep the outfit fun& flirty. 

as 21, i can't wait for the adventures life will bring &i'll savor every moment because you only live once. we just have to realize that growing up is not a bad thing. it may be one of the wonderful things that we'll be so lucky to experience.
