definitely ended my moments where i would ignore things that are a tad bit plain and boring. been collecting essentials and pieces of clothing that i know would last a lifetime. it's true that the world of glam&fashion will always change but there's one thing i know for sure, basics will never die.
hunting for basic essentials has been my mission since last year and i found treasures here and there. white had been a favorite because it's crisp and tres chic, especially this overused one. being it oversized brought a masculine feel that i openly welcome plus the black stripes gracing the sleeves made me feel like i'm ready to watch a baseball game.
in order to not go over the line of plain boring and slouchy, i added a gold chain on my neck and paint on my lips. let's not forget the added structure to the whole look from my flats. minimalism definitely hit me as i near the age of twenty-one.

cheers to a new year & the first post of 2014. let's all be greater than ourselves this year and do more. it's never too late to act and make a big leap to have our dreams within reach. always motivate yourselves to be a change or an inspiration to others. and most especially, be yourself.
