i always stray away from maxis since i lack the height that everyone needs when wearing it but this is a total exception! the black and white vertical stripes gave me that modelesque height. plus, it was very flattering since it made me look like i'm a few pounds less. you would definitely see me wearing this again!

 

instead of wearing heels to add a little bit more height, i went for my new white gladiator sandals from Call It Spring. i've always wanted a white pair of shoosies since it can practically go with everything too..& it looks so sophisticated. now i'm currently hunting for white pumps to add to my growing collection of shoes!

to add a little body to the whole look, i cinched the waist with a belt and voila! although the next time i'm going to wear this i'll probably ditch the belt and go for a mod look. what do you guys think? or we can go sporty by wearing a fabulous leatherette baseball cap! this dress is so versatile that purchasing it was the right decision. as they all say..invest! invest! invest!

 i finished the whole ensemble with a hint of color on my lips. as i've mentioned on my previous posts, i'm currently obsessed with lippies and i'm trying to get my hands on make-up already. i need to fill a basic make-up pouch soon!
