fringe.with.benefits.

here's a little update that i've been thinking of posting these past few days...

got this top from COPPER, an online store i just found out recently. i just fell in love with the combination of lace and fringe and the bohemian vibe it exudes. yes here i am once again with my unrequited love for anything bohemian:P
Copper lace fringed top. Forever21 red slim pants.
 Forever21 studded sandals

wore this ensemble a long time ago and only got to talk about it now. i paired up my see-through dramatic top with a striking red pants to balance the amount of skin i'm already exposing. fashion is not all about exposing everything you have, it's having the little peek-a-boos that keeps your outfit exciting.
H&M friendship bracelets. Mango braided cuff. Cotton On beaded bracelets.
 Bazaar Find necklace
 Glam Rock leopard watch

i'm writing this post as the rain continues to drench and dampen everyone's mood. it's such a solemn time for Filipinos and i couldn't help but feel helpless as i'm sorting out my thoughts on what to write. i've been stuck at home since monday and i've been very grateful that my family's safe and warm with me. although that might sound so selfish since there are tons of people out there who are suffering and need help. if some of you don't know, there has been continuous rainfall here in the Philippines that flooded streets and homes of people. classes are already suspended until next week because the government and schools are focusing on relief operations for those who are in need. with all the sufferings Filipinos are facing now, i don't even know how and where to start so i can be of a helping hand.

and suddenly i'm only left with the power of prayers. i encourage you guys to continue praying for those people who are greatly affected by the flood and the rain. if one prayer can be so powerful, what more if there were millions? let's all pray for the Philippines and shed some kindness to the people whose hopes have been washed down the drain. we can also help by offering a helping hand to the nearest school, government office or any place that is distributing relief goods. we can also donate our old clothes and shoes because it'll be of good use than just letting it sit inside of your closets:)

as a Filipino, i know the Philippines can rise from this tragedy with smiles and faith in God since each and every one of us are so willing to help. that's why Filipinos are known for their camaraderie or in Tagalog, bayanihan

stay warm and safe everyone and continue praying!
