down.to.earth.

this was what i wore last Independence Day..yes, what is long overdue! anyway me and my mom decided to go to my grandparents' house in Manila to visit them since i had no classes and she had no work that day. and guess what? i was the designated driver of the day. well, partly since my mom was the one who drove us back home:P still, i'm a legit driver!

i literally dressed down and went with just a plain white v-neck tee and some girly lace shorts and topped it off with the right pair of footwear and accessories! since it was Independence Day i wore a thick framed glasses since the holiday reminded me of Ninoy Aquino and his statement glasses. i know that it was such a random thought but that's just how my brain works. those who don't know Ninoy Aquino was, he was considered as a hero to all the Filipinos since he stood up for their rights back when Martial Law was declared by former late President Marcos. yeah i learned my history well:P

Zara white v-neck tee. Bershka dark blue laced shorts.

anyway enough with all the history shiz i've been blabbing about and on to my outfit. this has got to be the most laid back outfit i've ever posted and i love it! i look like your typical girl next door that always have fun with everything she does and is confident of who she is. and how i will never be afraid of challenges and back down.
Forever21 bangles. My lola's black and white bangle.Nava neon pink bracelet.
 Hong Kong metal yellow belt
Thrifted thick framed glasses

showing you guys how i normally act dorky on a daily basis! i'm not all serious faced all the time and if you guys got to know me personally, you'll know how weird and loud i can get!

anyway after we went home, my friend, Mon suddenly tweeted me to go have our nails done since our nails are begging for it! so i drove and fetched her then went to Nailandia again located at Tomas Morato and relaxed the afternoon away with good service and friendly manicurists!

on.a.jet.plane.

my peg for the day..rocker, well, trying to be a rocker:P

i'm undeniably falling in love again with pants especially colored ones! i can't get enough of them and i think i'll be stocking my closet with colorful or printed ones this term. i already understand the comfort i get from wearing pants than wearing skirts. i can actually move around more without worrying of peek-a-boo's here and there:P

Mango liquid jacket. Zara zebra printed blouse. Forever21 red slim pants.

my trying hard rocker outfit reminded me one of my favorite songs. it's Leaving on A Jet Plane by Aerosmith. it was the OST for the movie Armageddon and that movie really made me cry because of the ending where Bruce Willis sacrificed his life at the end of the movie for her daughter's boyfriend! to those who haven't watched it, i'm sorry i'm such a spoiler! still, you have to watch it even though it was a movie back in the 90's. it was such a heartwarming moment since i'm a sucker for father-daughter scenes.
 Forever21 floral belt
Forever21 colored bangles. Thrifted skull and set rings.

i've always taken interest in music and try different genres. i actually keep an open mind when it comes to music. there's a lot of different kinds out there and i just can't stay listening to only one. although if i have to choose, i'll choose pop and hip-hop songs. ha! yes, i do love Justin Bieber's kind of songs:P
  Thailand spiked loafers

if you guys have noticed i haven't had my hair cut and colored here and there's more looks that i'll be posting with my bangs pinned up like this. it only means i have a lot of backlogging to do! good luck to me i guess!

went home with this girl and decided to hang around my friend's crib to drink her homemade wintermelon juice! imagine we've been friends since elementary:) friends like her are really hard to find these days and i'm glad i'm surrounded with people like her as my friends! hope you guys have your own set of friends where you can be silly with and act crazy and they join you with your craziness even! rather than just laughing and staring at you dead on:)

have a great week ahead!

daddy's.little.girl.

it's his day today...

it's Father's day today and i just wanted to post what i wore earlier to eat at the new Gloria Maris at Greenhills for a lunch with family. i still have a lot of backlogs to blab about but i really want to post this first before the day ends:)

ta-da! just a side note.. i already re-colored and cut my hair:) hello full bangs and light hair shade! decided to just dress down with a sleeveless top and high waist shorts for the lunch we had earlier. i wanted to look like how i did when i was a kid, plain and simple. since i wanted to reminiscence my past memories which i don't vividly remember.. i also wanted my dad to see that i'm still me and will always be his daughter..

Forever21 sleeveless top. Curtis and Curtis studded high waist shorts.
Mango weave cuff. Bazaar peace bracelet. my cousin's metal bracelet.
 Love Diva beaded peace necklace
 Primadonna leopard loafers

what i will always remember is how my dad would always be there to come and pick me up when needed even it was already midnight. even though i know i may have been a bother since he works the whole day and only have little time to rest at night, he would always be willing to fetch me. even now, i would only have to ask him and if he could, he would. i may not be the best daughter for any dad out there, but he has been a great dad for me and my little brother. this is as far as i can be vocal with my feelings..HA-HA! i really can't stand cheezy stuff!

i salute to all the dads out there, even the moms. although there will be times that we'll be in conflict, everything would pass and it'll be okay once again. parents definitely deserve to be called heroes since they will do everything that they could just so their kids will have a comfortable life.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! i will always be your little girl:)
