restrictions

restriction is a word that doesn't exist anymore in the world of fashion. it's merely a 11-lettered word randomly put together and doesn't hold a meaning. who knew a word can be so powerless when it was purposely created to limit ideas and calculations.

Mango scarf printed top. Forever21 red slim pants.

scarf prints are already used to make tops, pants and shoes. who knew fashion could evolve like this? it's already not limited to keep our necks warm and just be an accessory, it's already made to be a whole outfit! another trend is the craze for ombre clothes, accessories and footwear. ombre can also be a hair statement! now this trend is not limited to fashion pieces but can also be applied as a hair style. i've always wanted to ombre-ed my hair but i'm too scared because it can actually damage it.

Posh Pocket Shoes teal smoking slippers

there's a lot of restrictions and rules already broken by famous designers and trendsetters. the heel-less high heel shoes has been taking the world by storm. Lady Gaga has been the first fashion icon i saw who bravely worn it and flaunt it off! it was amazing and i wish i had the courage to wear those and do a balancing act. color-blocking also has surpassed every limit it can. it broke every combinations in the color wheel and never did it once regret it.

now are you guys convinced how fashion can conquer the world? just imagine a world where everyone can be as fashionable as the models who grace the runway? oh i would want to live forever just to see that day..

enough.it.will.never.be

2 things i know i would never get enough of are lace and collared button down tops..how about you?

my peg for the day were pieces that would exude my inner sweetness and innocent self that i don't normally show on a daily basis. i was never the type to show affection in front of others and was always the person that would act strong and tough with words and actions. but the truth is i'm actually a sweet and loveable girl inside..ha! talk about having a split personality!

the laced peter pan collared top definitely helped me for the whole concept i was going for that day. in my weird and twisted mind, lace and collared tops have always been pieces that show sweetness and innocence at the same time. i don't know why so don't question it! haha! i also paired it up with a flowy floral skirt and some dainty accessories.

The Posh Wardrobe black and white lace collared top. H&M floral skirt.

H&M blue bubble necklace

what do you guys think of the outcome of my look? is it a yay or a nay? on a side note, i love trying out different looks and trends every time i have the chance to dress up. it's something fun and at the same time i find new things about myself! that's why i would never get tired of fashion because i can show different sides of me through my clothes. i can even tell a story!

it's a saturday night and i just stayed at home the whole studying for my comprehensive exam on thursday, friday and saturday. wish me luck you guys! because i really need it.:)

razzles.and.gumdrop.

ta-da! this is my last outfit post with my old hair! already decided to fix up and have my "me" time at the salon last June..

went for a very colorful ensemble which reminded me of everything sweet! i'm a big fan of candies and gummies that it comes to a point where i don't care how many calories i'm taking in. i think anyone with a sweet tooth can actually relate! candies make me feel like a kid again, when i only have basic math and science to figure out! who knew growing up would be so hard.

Forever21 blue and pink muscle shirt. H&M yellow skirt.

i know that summer's over but who says i can't color block? i'm a big fan of this trend since i love colors so much! although i'm also a fan of wearing neutral colors or monochromatic outfits, i still prefer to be bright and bold. wearing tons of colors make me feel young and an actual 19 year old girl! it's because i think when i reach the age of mid-20's, i wouldn't be able to dress much like this. so i have to while i'm still young and sweet. ha!
 Thrifted rings
H&M neon green necklace. GCulture Boutique Atelier green tassel necklace.
 Nine West sling bag
 Forever21 studded sandals

also, i think color blocking is not only limited for the summer season. you can color block warm colors like earth tones that is more fit for the rainy weather. it's because fashion for me is all about recycling. the fad now will be the trend again so why not stock up on pieces you know would made a comeback? mullet skirts and colored jeans are only some of the examples of fad!

on a side note, i already said goodbye to my old hair! i had my hair fixed at Bench FIX in Trinoma and it was such a coincidence that it was the last day of their promo for hair color. they had about 20% or 25% off which was so friendly to my mom's wallet. hihihi anyway i went for a lighter shade and trimmed an inch of my hair and sported a full bangs!
i know i've already posted outfit looks with my new hair but i just want you guys to see what it looked like right after. always felt like my hair is in a perfect condition the instant i step out of the salon and the next day after a shower, my hair is actually a big mess! do you guys feel the same?
