my post title might be familiar to you guys.yes it's the famous line from the movie The Hunger Games that was released last month. believe me when i say i really didn't want to watch it at first because i think the book was overrated that's why i didn't even tried to read it. but i'm so thankful to the phrase "benefit of the doubt" because i really gave the movie a chance and watched it! i watched it last month with my friends after school and the movie was exciting for me because i wasn't really expecting that much.

  the heroine, Katniss Everdeen, was an admirable character in the movie and yes! girl power rocks! no offense to all the male population out there..hihi but there was a part in the movie that really made my heart break. it was when Katniss kissed Peeta to act like lovers and get sponsors, as what they're called and Gale, acted by Liam Hemsworth, watched it and was totally heartbroken! i hate Katniss for that! HOW CAN SHE REPLACE LIAM HEMSWORTH WHO IS A TOTAL HOTTIE? ok i know it's the story line but i can't suppress the fan girl in me! i'm really rooting for his character but i read synopsis of the trilogy and too bad they won't end up together! oh well, you can be mine Liam *wink wink*

 watching the movie made me wanted to read the trilogy since books are more detailed and exciting for me rather than the movie. but the movie was done well since i was never bored while watching! i can't wait for the second installment of the movie! 

this will be the last post that i'll be doing this week and next week since it's finals! but no worries i would come back since this blog is my baby:) to those taking finals same time as me i wish you guys luck! may the odds be ever in your favor! what a Hunger Games fanatic, i know, i'm sorry :)

transition

it's a bit cliche to say this but the only thing permanent in this world is change. it could be a change from good to bad. or the transition of a girl to a woman or a boy to a man. even the weather can't escape from it because now it's freakin' hot and it's summer! as you all know the Philippines doesn't experience seasons like autumn or spring or even winter for that matter because i feel like it's summer all throughout the year. but if i have to choose a season to love and look forward to, i would choose autumn.

autumn is the transition from summer to winter according to wikipedia! who doesn't rely on wikipedia? you may ask me why autumn? it's because it's the season when the weather is warm and not hot. it's the season when i always think of warm colors like my wine-colored skirt and the point where you can wear long sleeves without getting soaked armpits!

don't get me wrong. i love summer and the cold season as well but if the heat and cold becomes unbearable, my mood would just get cranky. it's best if the weather has the right warmness and coldness to it. i like the temperature when it's only about to rain when it gets windy and chilly a bit!

it's the Lenten season and i hope everyone would stay safe and warm these next few days. it's a time to reflect and have time for ourselves because there would be no school or work. i hope you guys would get all the chance you can get to smile and laugh this holiday!

hello.little.piglet.

this ensemble totally reminds me of the Winne the Pooh animated series i had always watched back then when i was a kid. the shades of pink were the same as Piglet's and i just couldn't help to title my blog post with my favorite character!

 if you guys don't know who Piglet was or who Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Kanga, Roo, Rabbit and many more was, then you don't have the right to say that you had a complete childhood! well, that's exaggerated but people who knows Winnie the Pooh can understand me of how amazingly cute the series was! you people should google it sometime and maybe watch an episode or two!

the weekend is over and it passed so fast! i still got school tomorrow and it's no fun because everyone's having their summer break already! why does DLSU adapt and tri-semester system for that matter? at least it's Holy Week and i've got a few days off which i can finally use to study for my finals. wish me luck guys and pray for my good grades! hihihi
